Pentapolis metropolis Darnis at Derna harbour, capital of Libya Secunda (Marmarica). Hellenistic grid, Roman harbour moles, Byzantine cathedral and 600 CE synagogue floor beneath Uqba mosque. Green mountain wadi (Wadi Derna) fed cisterns and terraced gardens.
