About
About Gunung Padang Extended – Submerged Sunda Shelf Terrace Pseudo
056°E, 100 m depth, as the sunken lower tier of the pyramid after deglaciation, while the hilltop at 900 m asl is 'upper pyramid'. The claim asserts 20 000 BCE Sundaland harbour silt at 100 m was industrial harbour of pyramid builders. The shelf terrace is Pleistocene Sunda Shelf drowned forest and reef without construction – cores show mangrove peat and reefal limestone, not cut stone. No harbour walls exist at 100 m; Gunung Padang hill remains Holocene volcanic columnar andesite with natural terraces dated 2000 BCE, not 20 000 BCE.
Extension conflates Sunda Shelf sea-level lowstand with pyramid myth.
Why it mattersShelf–pyramid conflation example; debunk distinguishes Sunda Shelf verified lowstand peat from fringe pyramid harbour.
