Iximche — Kaqchikel capital (1470–1524 CE) with 4 plazas, 6 temples and 2 ballcourts on hill fort where Spanish founded Guatemala 1524–1527. Four plaza groups on 300×200 m hill with ravine moat and Temple 2 7 m high. Guillermin 1959 excavations reveal Postclassic warfare-driven hillfort.
