About Kebara Cave

Deep Mount Carmel cave with 15 m stratified sequence from Middle Palaeolithic (Mousterian, Neanderthal ‘Kebara 2’ pelvis/humerus, 60 ka) to Natufian. Mousterian levels yielded Levallois industry, hearths and the complete Neanderthal torso.
