Lombrives – Europe's largest single cave by volume (39 km gallery, 2.5 km long chamber) in Ariège Pyrenees, extending Niaux system. Upper Paleolithic parietal traces, Magdalenian portable stag antler harpoons, Roman bronze votives, Cathar refuge lore and 19th c. spelunking. Gallery of Megaceros, stalagmites 18m 'Witch' and Lombrives-Ariège karst hydrology connecting to Niaux 14 km.
