Pampa Grande Huaca Fortaleza in Chongoyape (Lambayeque): massive stepped pyramid 56 m high, 270×180 m base, with plaza, palace and reservoir. Excavated by Shimada (1981–): early Sicán/Mochica V capital after Moche south collapse. Platform with ramps and audiencia court. Shimada documented copper smelting furnaces. Urban zone 6 km² with 20k inhabitants briefly before abandonment c.750 CE. Variant recognizes distinct from earlier Pampa Grande listing — Fortaleza is main pyramid of city.
