About
About Qattafi–Harrat Kite Corridor (Qattafi to Harrat Link Kites)
Link corridor kite scatter 14 km south of Wadi al-Qattafi and 36 km southwest of Wisad Pools (690 m) on open corridor plain connecting the two mega-sites. Holds 6 dispersed 'link' kites spanning 8 km corridor, intervisible at 2–3 km spacing, interpreted as stepping-stone trap line guiding gazelle between the Wisad and Qattafi core complexes. Kites are degraded: walls 40–90 m low ruined chert, pens 12–18 m with infilled pits. Corridor alignment suggests landscape-scale coordination bridging 36 km between mega-sites.
Why it mattersOnly documented kite corridor linking two Black Desert mega-sites (Wisad–Qattafi).
