Slavic Rani / Rügen Principality site built c. 750 CE (harbour); princely shrine 8th–10th c. as slavic emporium, boat-yard and aristocratic cult centre on rügen. Documented via 1840s; Herrmann 1970–80; eastern Germany cult-strand. The Slavic Rani / Rügen Principality ancient city at Mecklenburg-Vorpommern preserves harbour settlement with 15–20 houses, boatbuilding yard, and separate tent-shaped shrine on promontory.
