About

About Richat Structure – Second Richat Semsiyat Dome Pseudo-Extension

A 2018 Facebook Atlantis spin-off proposes a 'Second Richat' – Semsiyat dome 30 km south of the main 45 km Richat Structure at 21.11°N 11.45°W, as a hypothesized 'outer harbour' of the pseudo-Atlantis concentric rings. Semsiyat is a smaller 5 km fractured Paleozoic sandstone dome on the same anticline, with concentric quartzite ribs and natural wadi gaps mis-identified as artificial harbour channels. No Atlantis rings, no 9000 BCE harbour mud, no Pleistocene shoreline at 400 m asl semi-desert; the dome is Devonian intrusion with K–Ar dated 400 Ma. The extension tries to rescue Richat pseudo by doubling the dome when first dome's canal-ring ratios failed Popper filter.

Why it mattersExample of pseudo extension to rescue failing ratios; debunk distinguishes anticline geology from concentric canal engineering.
