Sirsukh — last great city of Taxila (late 1st c CE–mid 5th c CE) 2 km NE Sirkap, Taxila valley, founded under Kushan Kujula Kadphises/Kanishka after 80 CE. 5.2 km rectangular wall (3.6 m wide) with bastions, diaper masonry with lime, Kushan–Gupta stratigraphy. Diaper-dot masonry Kushan and rubble Gupta, with Northern Black Polished Ware below, Gandhara stucco, and Hepthalite destruction layer. UNESCO 1980 within Taxila. Mirrors Sirkap Parthian grid but orthogonal Kushan plan, with central avenue and monastic suburb (Dharmarajika extension).
