Excavated J. Christensen 1995–: hall Fugledegård 30×12 m 550 CE–1000 successive, magnificent 1,200+ metal detector finds per ha (gold rings 2, guldgubbar, Frankish mounts, 10 Viking–Arab dirham hoards) on 8 ha plateau and lake island. Ludvig Holberg analogy? Tissø name ‘Tyr's Lake’ (Tyr). Western Zealand's Gudme-analog central-place for Roskilde? Tyr's sanctuary, Store Åmose watershed. Northern Zealand's Hedeby parallel before Zealand shift.
