About
About Atlantis on the Celtic Shelf – Dogger–Humber Extension Pseudo (Distinct from Doggerland)
A 2021 self-published claim stretches Doggerland's already-drowned North Sea plain north to the Humber as 'Celtic Shelf Atlantis' at 54°N 1.5°E, asserting Dogger Bank's Early Holocene peat plain is Plato's plain west of the Pillars. The claim mis-uses Pettitt's Doggerland seismic and ignores that Doggerland is verified Mesolithic peat plain (verified) distinct from Atlantis hypothesis; the 55×35 km 'rectangular plain' is arbitrary cropping of 300×200 km Doggerland. No Atenean white-red-black wall rock, no Pleistocene Atlantis harbour silt exists; the Humber gap is fluvial, not concentric rings. Distinguished from verified Doggerland by ATL- suffix.
Why it mattersExample of pseudo cropping; debunk distinguishes verified North Sea lowlands from Atlantean transplant logic.
