Hamlet on Ankara plain bridging Troad–Hittite sequences. 2700 BCE, the site forms a stratified mound/karst mound 150×120 m, 4 m high, early bronze houses. Excavations since the mid-20th c. expose wattle-and-daub and mudbrick houses with courtyard ovens architecture with diagnostic ceramics, lithics and administrative finds.

Archaeobotany and radiocarbon anchor the sequence, informing regional Central Anatolian Early Bronze networks across the Ankara Province. Threats include urban expansion, agriculture, erosion; research continues on Central Anatolian Early Bronze chronology.
