Mound 15 km north of Ramhormoz on Khuzestan piedmont, excavated by Alizadeh (ISIR). Late Chalcolithic Uruk-related bevel-rim horizon, Proto-Elamite sealing archive and Middle Elamite levels — Ramhormoz piedmont counterpart to Susa and Chogha Mish.
Why it mattersSusiana Late Chalcolithic centre with Uruk bevel-rim and Proto-Elamite horizon bridging lowland Elam and Bakhtiari uplands.
