About Tell Daruk
Flat coastal mound 12 km south of Jableh on the Jableh-Baniyas plain, surveyed by Courtois and later Syrian-German team. Early Bronze to Iron stratigraphy with MBA massif glacis, Late Bronze Cypriot White Slip and Iron Phoenician storage jars. Controls Nahr Daruk estuary anchorage.
