About

About Tell Fadous-Kfarabida

Small but stratigraphically crucial Early Bronze Age village on the Lebanese coast 12 km north of Byblos. AUB excavations (Genz & Sader, 2004–) revealed seven EB I–III phases with courtyard houses, Egyptian imports (Old Kingdom), and high-precision radiocarbon sequence anchoring the EB II–III transition and the EB III collapse — the finest coastal chronology in central Levant, informing Egyptian-Levantine synchronisms.

Why it mattersFinest Lebanese EB chronology; Egyptian synchronism; EB III collapse timing.
