Central harbour quarter below Gorgippia's acropolis on Anapa Bay central waterfront, where Sindian-Bosporan Gorgippia's main city harbour now lies 1–3 m submerged along Anapa's modern beach promenade. Distinct from the northern basin breakwater extension in wave-6, this central sector preserves a 110 m limestone quay at –2 m, fish-salting cetrae block 6 vats at –1.8 m and 4th c. BCE gate tower base 9 m diameter at –1.2 m documented by 2014–2019 Anapa museum diving and GPR. Founded c. 550 BCE by Sindians, refounded as Gorgippia c. 380 BCE under Bosporan Gorgippos, this harbour handled Black Sea wine and grain until 260 CE Goth sack. Gate tower guarded harbour entry road.
